I just joined a great consumer reviews website called Epinions. It allows you to post reviews on just about everything — movies, music, cars, travel, toys for kids, computers. I love these kinds of websites because they really help me when deciding on whether to make a purchase. It just makes you feel so much better about buying something when you know other people are happy with the product. Do you agree? I feel like I’ve gotten burned so much less since doing Internet research before buying something. One example is in my last post about blinds. I looked up several different companies and compared online reviews before decided to go with Levelor — and I’m really glad I did.

Anyway, enough with my rambling. Here’s my first review on Epinions. It’s a short book review of Committed, Elizabeth Gilbert’s follow-up to her hugely successful travelogue Eat Pray  Love. Enjoy!
